Study Of Investigation And Optimization Method For Urban Public Transport

With the rapid development of our county's urbanization process, the residents'travel demand increases significantly and urban transport problems appear constantly. Give priority to the development of public transport is one of the effective solutions to the imbalance of urban traffic between supply and demand and the restructuring of urban traffic. Establish the perfect and reasonable public transport network is a basic condition for the development of public transport. Therefore, the optimization of public transportation network is of great significance at present.This article points out the problems of bus OD's acquisition and public transportation network optimization. And it puts forward a new method to estimate bus OD matrix and also describes a method to optimize public transportation network combined with operational experience. First of all, it points out the current situation and the main content of urban public transportation network optimization and provides an overview of the general methods and specific steps of line optimization Secondly, it introduces the main steps of OD matrix estimation and presents a new method of OD matrix estimation with a small amount of survey data and makes a simulation Thirdly, it introduces the basic content of urban public transportation network optimization, including the factors, principles, objectives and methods. And it analyses the multi-objective optimization model of line optimization with literature under the targets of the least total travel time of the whole society, the lowest vehicle operating costs, the highest daily loaded rate of the network, and the maximum coverage rate of the network and the maximum direct rate of passengers. Finally, with the operational experience, it proposes a mathematical method to determine the direction of bus line and uses simulation to verify the feasibility of the method. Then, it discusses several basic connections of bus lines with graph theory. It also uses the decision table to evaluate the bus line network systemically. Utilize this method, it evaluates the reachability of all residence zones, and makes adjustment to the old line network.At the end of this article, it summarizes the contents and points out the further studying issues.
