Walking Street as a good place for people’s leisure and has a pivotal position in people’s lives. With the rapid development of the Walking Street, pedestrians become more and more intensive, high-density pedestrian street to make the potential risk factor increased, study of pedestrian in Walking Street is important for optimizing pedestrian organizational management, preventing crowd accidents and protecting the population.First, analyze data of pedestrian characteristics of the investigation, including: constituting the pedestrian in Walking Street; dynamic and static space requirements of pedestrians; Stride speed characteristics of pedestrians; psychological characteristics of pedestrians. which to make arguments based for the simulation.Secondly, describes the status of the internal transportation, analyzes the traffic characteristics of Walking Street, the causes and distribution of point of conflict, and introduces the self-organizing behavior of pedestrians, for the Pedestrian Mall, proposed evaluation indicators. to lay the foundation for the simulation results of the evaluation.Thirdly, introduces the social mechanics model, then make the simulation based on social forces. to do simulation mainly in three areas: First, make the simulation to the ideal state 8m Walking Street by different flow, according to the evaluation, obtain control threshold. Second, make the simulation of pedestrian residence, interleaving, retrograde and other acts in the pedestrian street inside pedestrian, obtained trends density and speed of the conflict zone, draw control thresholds based on evaluation; Third, there is no pedestrian organizations pedestrian simulation to obtain the flow of people in both cases, and residence time. Simulation results both for internal pedestrian congestion management organization to provide a theoretical basis.Fourthly, according to the pedestrian simulation results, propose the pedestrian behavior management practices and internal pedestrian walking street organizational management measures(time-based and space-based).
