The engine and electric motor seemed as power supply was equipped in hybrid system to distribute power flexibly, ensuring that the engine works in the high efficiency area,further to reducing fuel consumption. With the deep research of hybrid system, its development also restricted by some key technology, such as dynamic coupling control strategy, regenerative braking technology and energy storage management, etc. Whether Hybrid system development can be pushed into market was up to them.Test technique is the best way to solve problems mentioned above. Hybrid system should be established on the test bench to research and analysis due to its complex and difficult to control. So the program of hybrid system test bench which has regenerative braking function was designed and its system structure was built. Then implementation process of the dynamic coupling output test and regenerative braking test was analyzed and determined on the basis.Firstly, on the basis of knowing about the domestic and aboard development of regenerative braking technology, the biaxial parallel torque mode was determine as the combination way between engine and motor. The pump control motor closed hydraulic circuit was selected to made hybrid system transmission speed control function come true. Flywheel device was adopted to simulate hybrid system’s running process inertial energy. And hydraulic loading was selected to simulate hybrid system load torque. The test bench overall program design was completed. Secondly, the test bench constituent units, including power components, hydraulic components, electrical components was selected. The overall control system design plan was formulated according to the test need. Each functional unit control principle and technical specifications was introducedin detail. A data acquisition and control system was designed to meet the test requirement.Finally, combined with the hybrid test bench designed in this paper, the process analysis for two power coupling output test of engine and motor based on torque control mode was gave, as well as the regenerative braking test.
