The Research Of Fugue Format City Experience Design

People pay more and more attention to the feeling of space with urbanization. Many businesses use it as a point of competition. Therefore, many theme shops and HOPSCA, with experience as stunt, have sprung up at the historic moment.However, there is a limited amount of people’s information processing. Some design and construction with the improper use of theme or lack of theme will cause a certain waste of resources.In reaction to the phenomenon, this thesis will take fugue as a reference and analyze the time background of city experience design, fugue format characteristics, the specific design content of the fugue format city experience design to demonstrate its rationality and feasibility, and taking hengshan road, xintiandi, xujiahui park in Shanghai as examples to the specific analysis of the design application of fugue format city experience design. A new concept, “fugue”, the cognate word of "Subject", was introduced into the city experience design. The basic elements of "fugue format city experience" were extracted through the interaction between "subject" and "Counter-subject", combining fugue`s unique three-step integrated design. In the horizontal direction, theoretical connection point was explored from different areas of the theories; in the longitudinal direction,experience was gained from the process of urban development process to explore the interacting bridge between people and city through the analysis of city’s memory section and extracting the typical image fragments from the perspective of people’s perception. The language and formation was extracted according to the development of the city; meanwhile, the probable strong-sensed design methods were analyzed integrating with the theme of the viewer’s imagery to establish the format of urban experience design of a theoretical framework, and thus explore a new method of city space design.
