Adhesion coefficient is needed in the calculation of traffic accident reconstruction. It is a important technical issue to measure the road surface friction at the scene of the accident, and to transform it into the friction of tire and road surface. The establishment of road surface friction measure result, the model of longitudinal adhesion coefficient in constant acceleration method, the measurement of frictional characteristic and the expression model of adhesion coefficient in reconstruction software is significant to improve the precision of traffic accident reconstruction.Firstly, constant acceleration method and vehicle dynamics software were introduced in traffic accident reconstruction in this paper, and analyzed the longitudinal adhesion coefficient and the adhesion coefficient of this two methods. Tire and road surface friction characteristic tests were carried out in a variety of autos and road surfaces to analyze the relationship between the two coefficients.Secondly, according to the constant acceleration method of analysis reconstruction, the average deceleration in five sampling ranges was used to represent the frictional characteristic model. According to the data set, appropriate scheme was chosen to represent the basic model. Vehicle speed, auto model and road surface were used to analyze the factors of friction characteristic. The express model composed of the speed, auto model and road surface correction factors was proposed.Finally, this paper analyzed the changes of deceleration in braking process of vehicle with ABS, and proposed the peak adhesion coefficient and sliding adhesion coefficient model of TM-easy tire model in PC-CRASH. Dynamic coefficient of friction and static friction coefficient model of Gim tire model were established in Crashview. The two models’ accuracy was verified also.
