In order to meet the use function of the structure, the transfer structure is set up in the structure to convert different structure forms of the upper and lower parts. The form of conversion structure is various, among which the beam transfer floor is the most widely used.Beam transfer structure has advantages of clear stress path, good stress function, simple structure, convenient construction. However, the larger beam and stiffness can have an effect on the use function of buildings, at the same time, it may also produce the "strong beam weak column". In order to overcome the shortcomings of traditional beam transfer floor, and strengthen its advantages, by reducing the height of beam, and increase the width. As a result,wide-flat beam transfer floor arises at the historic moment. The research on the seismic performance of the structure form has become the subject of many scholars and designers.According to the type of structures, wide-flat beam transfer structure can be divided into two types: the wide flat beam type frame supported conversion structure and wide flat beam type drag column transfer structure. Combined with the engineering example, select two typical structure: supporting a column structure and frame supported conversion structure with wide-flat beams as transfer beams. Respectively, to study the impact of changes of bandwidth to two kinds of flat beam conversion structure. The main research work are as follows:Select three different wide flat beam width to thickness ratio, respectively, for modal analysis, under the action of earthquake, the mode decomposition response spectrum analysis, elastic time history of analysis and pushover analysis. From the structural modal, deformation, internal component, structure under earthquake plastic hinge distribution analysis of research study of wide flat beam width to thickness ratio of two kinds of structural seismic performance of the influence law.Though comparative analysis, we can find the beam width has little impact on the stiffness and deformation of the structure. While the impact on the transfer floor is obvious. Increasing the transfer beam width to thickness ratio is beneficial to reduce the conversion layer stiffnessmutation, the shear wall above transfer beam stress distribution is more uniform and reduce the internal force of superstructure. Moderate increase of wide flat beam width to thickness ratio is conducive to drag column structure to achieve the goal of "strong column and weak beam", what’s more, it can delay the wall hinge of the frame supported shear wall structure. The law of wide-flat beam width’s influence to thickness ratio on the support column transfer structure and frame supported transfer structure seismic performance is basically the same. The suggested value can be 1.8-2.75.
