Perlite sound-absorbing panels which have the peculiarity of sound absorption, fireprevention, waterproof, thermal insulation, qualitative light, green environmental protection, easy to use, low cost and no secondary pollution, etc, are widely used in building indoor sound-absorbing panels, sound-absorbing ceiling, can also be used for industrial noise control, road sound barrier and missile silos sound-absorbing, have wide development prospects. The enterprise has always been packed by hand in the condition that there isn’t yet automatic packaging line in view of perlite sound-absorbing panels on the market, this packing way is not only labor-intensive, multi-occupancy hours, low productivity, and manual packaging also has a security risk, the problem of bad working environment, great damage to workers’ health. To solve these problems, the paper design and develop a complete set of automatic packaging line for perlite sound-absorbing panels.First of all, by analyzing the production process, the characteristics of sound-absorbing panels and the overall design requirements proposed by the manufacturer to automatic packagiing line, using a modular design concept to carry on the functional decomposition, determine the packaging process and the process route of the automatic packaging line; Analyzes and compares the differernt implementations of each modules sequentially, and then choose the available implementations of each module, and then the implementation of the sub-modules are combined analysis, finally determine the overall optimal implementation of the automatic packaging line.Then, determine the overall packaging line design parameters, design the various sub-module based on the overall parameters detailed, complete the automatic packaging line’s 3D solid medeling and virtual assembly by using the SolidWorks software, set up the simulation model of the system.Then, complete the kinematics simulation for the automatic packaging line’s key institutions-folding carton institution and handing robot by using the ADAMS software. By analyzing the simulation results, on the one hand to verify that the structural design is reasonable and achievable, while also determine the best value of folding carton institution’s cylinder’s extending speed and handing robot’s sliding acceleration time, provide important reference to guide field installation and debugging.Finally, complete the respectively modal analysis of the two positions of handiing robot which is prone to resonance by applying the finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench, get the natural frequencies and the corresponding mode shapes, find out handing robot’s shaking reason by comparing with the electrical excitation frequencies; and then improve and optimize the structure of handing robot, complete modal analysis to the optimized structure, the results show that the natural frequency optimized avoids the excitation frequency of the motor, fundamentally solves the shaking problem of handing robot.
