With the increase of traffic flow, frequent traffic accidents are caused by drunk driving, which cause serious damage to the road traffic safety and people’s life and property safety. In order to control and eliminate drink driving or drunk driving, this topic research has certain social benefits and economic benefits. Exhale type alcohol detector can conveniently and quickly help to detect alcohol content in breath of drivers. According to the specification of national standard GA307, we can obtain alcohol level in blood in the body. This makes it more feasible for traffic polices to spot check randomly. Exhale type alcohol detector is easy to be operated, so the driver can detect by oneself to confirm their safe driving.Alcohol content detector is the research object in this paper. Research on domestic and international literatures and products of the alcohol content detector, the a lcohol content detector is designed in a way in which STM32F407 ZG is the main chip, the temperature sensor, ethanol sensor and signal processing circuit are integrated.This thesis analyses the overall design of the alcohol content detector. Based on the analysis of the system function, the various parts of the control circuit have been designed. The concept of modular design has been adopted in designing the hardware system. The main function modules includes a power supply module, the minimum system, sensor interface, SD card interface, TFT color LCD display module and sound and light alarm module. The experiment of hardware board is conducted and some related experiments have been done to verify the feasibility of the circuit. The software system includes da ta collection, data processing and data storage. Through pressure value present, the detector transfers the collected signals to single chip computer and signal processing of alcohol eventually measures the alcohol content of subjects. The hardware and software of the recorder have been thoroughly tested and all debugging and problems are solved. The experiment results show that the recorder meets the design requirements and has good practical value.
