As a new principle of the drive motor, the ultrasonic motor has been more and more widely attentioned and applicated with his unique features, such as compact in size, high-torque at low speed, high holding torque when power off, no magnetic interactive effect, quick response and quiet operation.Currently, scientists home have paid more and more attentions to the research and applications,and it’s a new research hotspot in the field of mechanical and electrical integration.Firstly, this paper introduces the characteristics of ultrasonic motor, the development history and application, and summarizes the present status of ultrasonic motor driver control technology research.And then this thesis studies the running mechanism of ultrasonic motor and speed regulating principle, and states the basic structure of ultrasonic motoras well as the principle of workSecondly, the ultrasonic motor drive control system based on DSP is developed, which could be used for ultrasonic motor voltage regulator, frequency modulation and speed regulation control respectively.It adopts the multiple feedback module. And it collected the platform for drive speed, temperature, pressure and voltage and current feedback and the information, at last forming a closed loop control system.Finally, the BP neural network method of ultrasonic motor speed control is adopted, which is optimized by the genetic algorithm. And in the design of general drive control system, the speed of the ultrasonic motor output error is controlled. We test the launch of the ultrasonic motor, as well as the stable experiment for a long time. The experimental results show that the optimized BP neural network algorithm has significantly reduced the speed of the ultrasonic motor output error and improved the performance of the ultrasonic motor.
