Linear ultrasonic motors use piezoelectric ceramic materials of the inverse piezoelectric effect,by the micro-deformation elastic body slightly ultrasonic vibration. Friction between the stator and therotor movement directly promotes the load. It has the following advantages: easy to linear motion,simple structure, rapid response, high resolution power and self-locking. So it is more suitable formodern high-tech industries. To take full advantage of the advantages of ultrasonic motor, researchand development of new drive controller has great significance. This paper summarized below:This design is based on TMS320F2812linear drive control platform, using the V-shapeddouble-horn ultrasonic linear motor-driven components. The system uses digital circuits, can producea variety of different waveforms of drive signals, providing voltage regulation, frequency modulation,phase modulation speed of the ultrasonic motor control research platform, to achieve anano-positioning and data collection to improve the mathematical model of ultrasonic motor function.Drive control platform uses TI’s TMS320F2812floating-point DSP core chip, the use of FPGAand other peripheral devices generate signals with multiple feedback modules, the platform for drivespeed, temperature, pressure and voltage and current feedback and the information collected, andinformation uploaded to the PC, to form a complete closed-loop control module.This paper made a study of the drive control platform based on the completion of the hardwareand software platform. This design test the drive control platform drive motor producing a variety ofwalking speed signal and for amplitude, phase, frequency, respectively, the situation changes a lotexperiments. Micro-drive platform in the next step to reach the goal of a more stable position,positioning accuracy of less than100nm can be achieved.This subject studies based on TMS320F2812linear ultrasonic motor drive control platform underthe subsidize of the National Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong joint project "The keytheoretical precision electronics manufacturing equipment and technology research"(Fund Number:U0934004) in2009, to create a good test environment for the research on ultrasonic motor.
