Firstly, this thesis carries a brief study of city downward landscape itself and its visual assessment and then set the core object of study of this thesis as order study of the city downward landscape of area that non-high-rise buildings concentrated. Secondly, the thesis analyzes the relation between order evaluation and visual quality evaluation, proposes some types of building block organization status and the rules to evaluate them.Thirdly, by means of experiments and relevant information research, four variables to control the city downward landscape of area that non-high-rise buildings concentrated are put forward. Lastly, The thesis chooses two of the four variables (building scale and building layout direction) to make intensive study, and some quantified control recommendations which could be used in practice are tired to conclude.
