Elevator as vertical transportation equipment is an indispensable part of modern high-rise building. As an important part of the elevator, the traction machine braking system, especially for the permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machine, is very important guarantee for the elevator safety operation. Research and design braking system of permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machine, has a far-reaching significance to improve elevator safety. This project is to design and Research on brake system of permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machine.Firstly, according to the elevator system parameters and brake requirement of America standard A17.1-2013 《Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators》, combined with the theory of mechanics, calculating and determine the safe braking torque required for elevator system, include normal brake torque and emergency brake torque;Secondly, according to the braking torque, by means of the ANSYS electromagnetic analysis and mechanical strength analysis software, to determine the brake force and basic structure dimensions, dynamic static checking brake disc strength and deformation, select properly friction part; Then, the analysis of some problems in the application of the brakes, firstly, to brake noise, in order to effectively improve the brake noise, the numerical analysis of noise radiation theory is adopted. Secondly, the heat generate from braking process has been simulated, also the temperature field analysis, to improve the safety and its lifetime; Finally, base on the above theory design, tests confirm, to tests and verify the performance of brake has been reached the expected requirement, to realize the combination of theory and practice. The content of the above research, design and analysis in theory, and through the test to confirm, verify the design objective, provides the basis for the system design of traction machine brake.
