Seal half ball valve as the main part of industrial production line of medium transmission, not only is one of the important part of manufacturing equipment industry, also is indispensable control unit in fluid conveying system. As a result the face of the half ball valve plug damaged and erosion wear by the particle in pipelines under high temperature and high pressure in the process of opening and closing, the untight seal, eventually lead to a half ball valve failure scrapped. Remanufacturing the wear failure of the half ball valve sealing face, is extending the service life of the seal half ball valve, the effective ways to reduce the enterprise cost, the relevant manufacturers and research institutes at home and abroad research important topic. This article emphatically from the way of the experiment on half ball valve sealing the study of the remanufacturing by laser cladding, the main contents are as follows:1)Analyzing the seal half ball valve working condition, on the process of opening and closing, sealing the impact of the work under the surface of the particles is analyzed, it is concluded that the main failure causes, form and position of seal half ball valve, laid the foundation of sealing ball valve sealing surface repair and remanufacturing research.2)According to the design principle of laser cladding alloy powder and consider half ball valve working condition, the requirements of use performance, design two kinds iron base composite alloy powder named the BQF-1 and BQF-2, as repair powder to manufacture erosion wear failure of sealing ball valves and study control methods for the cladding effect.3)In turn laser cladding BQF-1 and BQF-2 alloy powder in the experimental plates with the same material of half ball valve, determine the corresponding process parameters of laser cladding. To observe the cladding phenomenon in the cladding process, and the two kinds of laser cladding powder under different power effect is analyzed.4) Cladding experiments of two kinds of cladding layer, respectively, the microstructure observation, microhardness measurement, sand blasting experiments, macro hardness, impact toughness, and friction and wear performance contras experiment. Through the analysis and and comparison of experimental results, BQF-1 composite alloypowder was prepared by cladding layer and substrate with good metallurgy, mechanical properties, wear resistance, erosion resistance is better, satisfy the remanufacturing repair requestion of the sealing half ball valve sealing work.5)Remanufacturing repair the failure of the sealing face of the valve plug and valve seat in half ball valve by laser cladding BQF-1 composite alloy powder, the macroscopic observation and NDT testing is not found crack, shrinkage cavity on the cladding layer, further verify feasibility is correct that laser cladding BQF-1 composite alloy powder can repair the seal half ball valve.
