With the development of high-rise buildings, the problem of temperature crack controlling for mass concrete foundation has become increasingly prominent. This paper analyzes the characteristics of temperature and stress field of mass concrete foundation with cooling pipes by using the ANSYS software. The main research works are as follows:(1) Verified the reasonableness of the numerical simulation method. This paper use numerical simulation method to verify the concrete block pouring test with cooling pipes in the article. By comparing temperature time history curve of a few measuring points, the results verified the correctness of numerical method and the material parameters.(2) Studied the temperature field of mass concrete foundation using cooling pipes. Influence of some parameters was considered such as the horizontal and vertical distances of cooling pipes, the difference between concrete input temperature and water inlet temperature, the pipe length, the flow of cooling water, the thickness of the foundation. A practical calculation formula to estimate the highest temperature of mass concrete block was established by regression analysis for the first time.(3) Studied the temperature field and stress field of raft foundation of Tower No.12, which locates in Guiyang Huaguoyuan N-District. By comparing four differerent layout plan of cooling pipes, the best pipe layout plan is selected as construction method. The temperature crack of mass concrete foundation was well controlled by construction monitoring with multiple measuring points and adjusting temperature controlling method.(4) Studied the temperature field of raft foundation of building tower No.7 in Guiyang Huaguoyuan N district. By setting cooling pipes in foundation, and a complete set of methods which from the pouring of concrete, vibration, maintenance and layout of measuring points and temperature data was proposed to control cracks in concrete foundation. Through further analysis of construction plan, a optimization layout plan of cooling pipes is presented.
