Research Of Bus Operation Service Quality Evaluation Base On Electronic Bus Stop Board System

Along with the speeding up of urbanization, traffic congestion is getting worse and worse. After a long time research, traffic experts have reached an agreement that developing public transport to improve passenger traffic sharing is the only effective way to solve this problem. Thus, major cities gradually pay more attention to developing public transport, and have adopted lots of measures, such as increasing bus lines and public transport vehicles, but did not achieve the desired results. Why? Because these measures do not really meet passenger’s demands and failed to attract more passengers to take a bus. On the other hand, with the progress of science and technology, more and more advanced technologies are being applied to the transport sector to solve reality problems or improve management efficiency. One of the most important applications is the electronic bus stop board system. Since the system is being used by many major cities, there is a large amount of data can be used.So, this paper analyzed and studied urban bus operation service quality evaluation based on electronic bus stop board system. First, learned from previous studies and built indicators for evaluating based on data what the system can obtain. Then, according to my own understanding to the system’s operation principle, I myself designed and developed software to simulate the system to introduce it more clearly. Meanwhile, the acquisition and pre-processing of data was also carried out a detailed analysis. Then the paper introduced the cloud model evaluation method, constructed comprehensive evaluation method named AHP-cloud Model combined with analytic hierarchy process. Last but not least, the paper evaluated bus line 239 with the method which we just introduced and the result was pretty satisfying.In this paper, I used a lot of methods and techniques, such as actual surveys, computer software analysis, combination of qualitative and quantitative methods and so on, to study urban public transport service quality evaluation. While studying evaluation methods and techniques, the paper adhered to the principle of the scientific, reasonable and feasible.
