| Six sections were classified in the thesis entitled Application on Design Method of Glass Bent Frame Structure System. Firstly, state of the art of glass structure’s application and its research achievements in China and abroad were addressed in addressed in detail.Secondly, the progress and current status of abroad glass structure were systematacially introduced, which was elaborated in the following three subsections.(1) aborad glass structure in the 20 th century remained at the initial stage. In this era, glass structure was utilized in temporary construction, which demonstrated that glass could play a role as structure material, but not in regular constructure.(2) latest progress of all-glass structure in this century was addressed with the case of works performed by British structural designcompany limited(Eckersley O’Callaghan) and Italian team of glass designer(Santambrogio).(3) evolution of glass structure in USAApple flagship shop was presented in detail.Thirdly, five design factors were given here:(1) property of glass material involving strength feature, damage feature, design value of strength, carrying capacity, remaining strength, thermal stress, and flame proofing;(2) glass products utilized with glass structure include tempered glass, heat-strengthened glass, ultra clear tempered glass, and laminated glass, whose characteristics were decribed and analyzed in this thesis;(3) choices for the cross section of glass carrier, involving the types of cross section, those attributes, and other factors;(4) connecting joint design among glass components, and influence of different connection types on carrying feature; and(5) design method and procedure were attempted to raise.Fourthly, with structural design of simulation for glass bent frame structure, theoretical analysis for glass structure design was discussed. Along the loading procedure, design and verification of carrying load were carried out among glass panel, glass support, and glass connecting joint. Additionaly, analysis and check for remaining capacity of glass bent frame structure were performed substantially.Fifthly,by ABAQUS FEA software, tried toanalyze the glass paneleffect of bearing capacity on beam(simply supported beam) and glass column(compression-bending member).Tried to advance a method to determine the effective width of the Panel.And withthe action of paneltook into account, tried to advancethe optimization solutions of glass fin.Lastly, insufficientof this thesis and expectation was taken. |
