In recent years, with the development of the power electronic technology and the trend of high efficiency and energy saving, the switching power supplyare also beginning to get the favour of people. More and more countries and scientists devoted into the research boom of the switch power, and one of the hot spot of current research is about the research of the control strategy for switching power supply converter. With the constant improvement of the performance of switch power supply and the structure is also more and more complex, the conventional modeling method and the control strategy has been difficult to meet the control demand. The PID controller,as a control strategy which isused frequently has simple structure, high reliability, robustness, but the tuning method of conventional PID controller is rather complicated, and the model of the controlled objects precision demand is higher. When the control object’s structure has been changed,PID controller parameters cannot self-tuning, soits adaptive ability is poor. The intelligent control algorithm proposed in this paper can make correction t o PID controller, and it can also greatly improve the reliability, stability and adaptability. Moreover, the intelligent control algorithm is also the research trend of current control strategy. This design specific work content is divided into the following several aspects:First, in-depth study of the two typical circuit DC-DC converter: Buck-Boost converter and Buck converter. Analysis of the two kinds of circuit topology structure and circuit components parameters calculation method;Second, detailed introduced the two kinds of circuit modeling and the design of conventional PID controller based on amplitude phase margin method for simple ring circuitand double loop circuit. Based on conventional PID controller design and fuzzy control theory, I designed fuzzy-PID controller for Buck converter and Buck-Boost converter. In addition, I compared PID controller with fuzzy-PID controller under the MATLAB/Simulink environment, the result proved that the fuzzy-PID controller not only could improve the conventional PID controller’s static working characteristics, also could improve the dynamic characteristics, has fine adaptability, greatly improved the reliability and stability of the system;Finally, I regarded the Buck converter as the control object, designed the hardware platform based on STM32F105RBT6 chip. At constructing experimental platform, I carried on the experimental study for the design of the conventional PID controller and fuzzy-PID controller, the experimental results validated the simulation results, proved the feasibility and effectiveness of intelligent control algorithm, and has a better improvement to the conventional PID control algorithm.
