Marine butterfly valve hydraulic actuator is an important branch in many types of valve drive. Hydraulic actuator as an important component part of the drive butterfly valve, is used in ships’ ballast water system and other important workplaces. Its structural characteristics, response speed and control Lu stick affect the valve drive performance directly. Therefore,the study of marine butterfly valve hydraulic actuator and control system design has an important significance to ensure the safety and reliability of the ship.In this paper, marine butterfly valve hydraulic actuator is the research object, combining with the mechanical structure and the hydraulic circuit design、simulation technology and fuzzy control strategy, which is to study the research on the marine butterfly valve hydraulic actuator for structure optimization design and control in response. Especially for the key device parameters and intelligent control strategies, to optimize the hydraulic cylinder displacement response time.It is carried out by research and analysis,specific research work as follows:Firstly, marine hydraulic valve actuators is designed for hydraulic circuit system actuators, mechanical structure and forms of control systems, which is used in the special conditions.And the key components, such as hydraulic cylinders, servo motor and hydraulic pump, are designed and selected. Additionlly, integrated hydraulic valve block and hydraulic lines are also made for the corresponding research.Finally, virtual and physical prototype of marine hydraulic valve actuators have been gotten.Secondly, marine hydraulic valve actuator system model is established in AMESim, including setting system and control strategy analysis component parameters. Then actuator system is simulated and analyzed to identify the key factors that influence the hydraulic cylinder displacement response times. The simulation results can be obtained: servomotor speed、the modulus of elasticity of oil、hydraulic lines and hydraulic pump inertia all have an impact to the actuator displacement response. Appropriate adjustments have been maken to optimize the settings of the key factors according to the simulation results, and confirm the accuracy of the optimization method by way of experiment.Finally, the control system based in co-simulation platform with AMESim & MATLAB/Simlink of marine butterfly valve hydraulic actuator, is used without PID control and conventional PID control and fuzzy control strategies, and entered a number of different control signals to compare the advantages and disadvantages of control strategies through co-simulation. The simulation results show that: the fuzzy control compared to the other two control strategies for hydraulic cylinder actuator in response, which control is more quickly, and can promptly correct the error in the control amount generated in the process, the fuzzy control strategy has better Lu stick properties. Eventually, the hydraulic actuator control system with fuzzy control strategy to realize the intelligent control system.
