Evaluation Research On The Night View Of The Core Area In Zhujiang New Town Under The Perspective Of Urban Design

With the accelerated pace of life and the development of lighting technology, the human evening activities has increased. In such background, urban night view has increasingly become the emphasis of urban space construction.At the same time,the problems such as the functionless of night lighting and the low quality of urban space at night had also appear.How to evaluate and control the urban night view under the perspective of urban design is worth considering.In this paper,the research purposes is to sum up the evaluation method by study the night view case and urban design theory,and then put the evaluation method into use to evaluate the night view of the core area in Zhujiang New Town.By the end of this paper,the conclusion will include the evaluation of the night view of the core area in Zhujiang New Town and the general theory of urban night view.To provide a theoretical basis for the study behind, this paper described the research background, purpose and meaning,and then reviewed the related concepts and design methods firstly(Chapter 1、2). On this basis, this paper studied two aspects:1. Excellent night lighting Case studies abroad.Study the night view in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore, summarizes their similarities,then make the comparative analysis with the Zhujiang New Town waterfront night view.At last form the preliminary evaluation of the Zhujiang New Town waterfront night view(Chapter 3).2. Application of the theory of urban design in the urban night view.Combine the theory of urban design with building night lighting design, in order to deduce the method of construction interface control and evaluation of urban night view.Then analyze the city cognitive map research method, in order to deduce the city night cognitive map research method,and design the questionnaire of the night view of Zhujiang New Town(Chapter 4).Based on the study of theory and case,this paper researched the night view of Zhujiang New Town from two angles:1. From the perspective of urban night view interface control.Analyze the major lighting part of architecture in the condition of the proportion of urban space and viewing point.Then combine the different viewing point to form the show interface,in order to analyze the quality of night view interface(Chapter 5).2.From the perspective of city night cognitive map.Firstly,make the preliminary evaluation from the subjective point of people which concluded from the questionnaire.Then analyze the night view of Zhujiang New Town from the night cognitive intensity distribution of people(Chapter 6).Based on the above-mentioned study,this paper put forward two conclusions:1.The evaluation result about the night view of Zhujiang New Town.2.The general theory of urban night view.I hope I can provide new ideas and reference for urban night view construction through my research(Chapter 7).
