Energy is the material basis of a country’s economic sustainable development and international competitiveness. Building energy conservation is basically beneficial to promote energy conservation and reasonable utilization, to ease the contradiction between our country’s energy supply and the development of society and economy, to realize the sustainable development of social economy, conducive to the protection of national energy security, environmental protection, social sustainable development, implement the scientific concept of development. Therefore, to reduce energy consumption is to reduce production costs and improve economic efficiency. Therefore, the study of building energy-saving can not only reduce energy consumption of buildings to save energy, but also bring huge economic benefits to the manufacturer.This paper takes a shopping mall in Wuxi as the platform, based on the cooperative idea, and studies the energy saving optimization of the central air-conditioning system, aiming at improving the operating efficiency of the system and reducing the energy consumption. The main research results are as follows:(1) According to the results of previous studies, establish the energy consumption model of the central air-conditioning system. According to the central air-conditioning system energy consumption equipment with different characteristics, summ up the energy consumption model of each device, to simplify the system of objective function with constraint conditions, and then establish the central air conditioning water system energy consumption model.(2) Using of genetic algorithm to the total energy consumption of the air conditioning water system as the objective function, and points out the water system optimization control of the realization process and steps. Analysis of the variables of the optimization setting value and equipment start and stop state, and field sensors to collect information by using MATLAB software simulation before and after optimization of the energy curve, through the data analysis to verify the feasibility of genetic algorithm optimization and energy saving.(3) According to the parameter optimization of the results of the design of PLC control program, by controlling the working state of the program to coordinate the various energy consuming equipment, making equipments cooperative work stability, ensure that the energy consumption of the whole system is always in optimum operating point, the air-conditioning system efficiency (COP) from the beginning to the end to maintain the maximum. And the configuration interface of the upper computer is designed, and real-time monitoring of the operating parameters can be carried out in real time by the configuration interface.
