With the economic and energy consumption growing rapidly, energy-saving has become the theme of social development. Tower cooling technology which is an important air-conditioning system of industrial building energy-saving is one of many energy-saving measures to change the cold and heat source.As for the special traits of electronic product, the constant temperature and humidity are requested inside the workshop during manufacturing. Due to the large thermal discharge of equipment, the production workshop should be supplied for cooling uninterruptedly through all the year. Also, Hangzhou is a hot-summer and cold-winter zone, and outdoor air enthalpy is lower in transition season and winter. So as to creating the conditions for applying tower cooling to air-conditioning systems in energy-saving of existing industrial building. This article adopt tower cooling system for energy-saving projects in air conditioning system which belongs to an electronic factory in Hangzhou, mainly by researching and analyzing the establishment of the cooling tower and cooling system simulation platform, system operation and controlling mode, influencing factors and optimization, measurement analysis and energy-saving economy.Firstly, as for energy-saving project of air conditioning systems for an electronics factory in Hangzhou, establish the right model of tower cooling System by using TRNSYS. The running mode and controlling strategy was analyzed combined with trait of tower cooling.Secondly, the mainly factors which influence energy consumption are researched, including temperature of switching system, the outdoor wet bulb temperature, supply and return water temperature and equipment efficiency.Finally, the simulation results of tower cooling mode were analyzed and make a comparison to actually operational energy consumption in 2014. The results showed that economy energy saving rate reached 32% after adopting tower cooling. At the same time, the air conditioning system which was applied to tower cooling was tested. The results showed that the actual energy consumption were 17.22% higher than the analog energy consumption in tower cooling air conditioning systems. There is a certain amount of error between the actual energy consumption and theoretical simulation, and discussing factors of error, then the economic analysis of the energy-saving projects.
