Modern Restorative Landscape Design Research

With the development of society, people’s demanding of health is growing with each passing day. They also have higher request on the medical environment. Modern restorative landscape is gradually becoming a burgeoning landscape type. Medical environment obviously have the function of adjuvant therapy. Western countries have already research this kind of landscape to a certain degree, such as the professionalization development of Horticultural therapy and the introduction of evidence-based medicine promoted the development of restorative landscape objectively. However, this area is still in a starting stage in our country, the systematic study for this kind of landscape isn’t enough yet.The thesis expounds the question with five parts:The issue is proposed in the first part which introduces the background, objective, meaning of research and the current situation of research in domestic and overseas. It briefly discusses the main content and method for the research. The train of thought for the research should be into shape in this part.The second part is for the issue analysis. The relevant concepts about restorative landscape are discussed briefly in this part. And it set out the main landscape form about the restorative landscape, it also analysis the basic feature about this kind of landscape. The function of it has been summarized in different aspects. With the analysis of the relevant content, it can be easier to solve the problem.The third part is about the solution of the problem. It synthetically analyses the basic of restorative landscape theory. And it proposed the design guideline and method about the modern restorative landscape on this basis. This part discusses the method and strategy about restorative landscape in three levels which are users, environment space and functional feature.The forth part is bout project analysis. It interprets the typical project in domestic and overseas, and by means of survey it summarizes the urgent problems in our country.The fifth part is for project practice. With the project of Linyi Civil Hospital, the author took the exploratory design practice with the restorative landscape design theory to provide the reference for the domestic restorative landscape area.
