Hydraulic drive system is widely used in engineering machinery at present. For full hydraulic drive of engineering machinery, if only using hydraulic brake is not satisfactory, therefore, it has a great realistic significance to develop and design wet multi-disc brake which is assembled on the Hydraulic motors. The study is relying on the multi-disc brakes of the 18 t single-drum roller,With the reference to foreign similar products, develop a brake and make it meet the requirements of making vehicle slow down, emergency braking or parking braking. and complete the design of key parameters of brake.Doing derivations of the transient conduction-convection different equation of two objects based on the theory of heat conduction in solids, Applying the heat transfer and thermal elastic mechanics theory, complete the physical field coupling analysis with the finite element methods.Established its two-dimensional finite element model by using the software of ANSYS to simulate and analyze the parking brake, study the initial pressure distribution in the radial direction on each friction surfaces, on this basis, considering the actual braking mode of the movement and the variations of dynamic parameters, convective heat transfer boundary condition and others. Using the software of ABAQUS to established its three-dimensional finite element model of transient temperature field and stress field. through simulation, that the extreme temperature and pressure distribution in the contact area with the design requirements. Verified the correctness of the theoretical analysis, calculation methods and design, reached the simulation purposes.
