Research On Function Design Of Nanjing Forestpolice College Comprehensive GYM

In recent years, the school has built gymnasium of many sizes with the large-scale construction of campus. University gymnasium, as the place for teachers and students doing the sports teaching and physical exercises, can meets the diverse needs of the campus life, which is indispensable to the campus as organic composition. This thesis, based on the actual engineering project-Nanjing Forestpolice College comprehensive gym, from the function integration of the gym to the function complex of the single space, researches on the functions of university gymnasium, and trying to explore the way of efficient utilization of gymnasium from the perspective of architectural design.This thesis is divided into two parts. Part one is drawings of the practical project, part two is the research and analysis on the project. Analysis section contains three chapters:The first chapter is introduction. It introduces the research background, objects, etc. And it also discusses the purpose and significance of the research, the research content and methods.The second chapter is the study of function integration of university gymnasium. First of all, it summarizes the layout types and characteristics of university comprehensive gymnasium. Secondly, it combs the thoughts and main points of the Nanjing Forestpolice College Comprehensive Gymnasium’s function design. It also analyzes the function integration design of university gymnasium, from the general layout, form generation, function layout and traffic line, etc.The third chapter discusses the function complex design of a single space. It explores the application of function complex, from the aspects of the ground size, space division and functional replacement. Combining with practical project, it also states the method of function complex design of the badminton hall, natatorium and yoga club.The author hopes the research of this thesis can provide a beneficial reference to the following design of Nanjing Forestpolice College Comprehensive Gymnasium as well as the design of university gymnasium’s function.
