Developing the demand side management and strengthening the coordination of source and load are not only the significant development trend of power market reform,but also the important way to support large-scale renewable accommodation. In this paper, based on the development requirement of power generation scheduling, after analyzing optimization strategy of demand side management, the basic model of coordination of source and load considering the demand side benefits and uncertainty processing approach for coordination of source and load with wind, a novel generation dispatch method with coordination of source and load considering demand side response is proposed, The main contents are as follows:(1) A bi-level hybrid optimization model is built according to relationship of peak and valley period partition and time-of-use pricing. Considering the difficulty of solving the model in mathematics, the enumeration method is proposed to use to realize the valley period division and time-of-use pricing decoupling.(2) The effects of time-of-use price to the source and load are analyzed, and the satisfaction indexes of customers are given from the costs and habit of customers. Then a generation dispatch model with coordination of source and load is presented by considering the generation cost and the customer satisfaction based on time-of-use price.(3) Based on above generation dispatch model with coordination of source and load considering demand side benefit, a power dispatch model with coordination of source and load considering large scale wind power is established, and the scenario method is used to describe the stochastic problem of wind power, then the corresponding solution algorithm is given.(4) By analyzing the rolling optimization strategy based on MPC, a new forecasting scheduling model considering wind power rolling accommodation is given, in order to solve the problem of low accuracy of wind power prediction, and the efficiency of dispatch with coordination of source and load considering large scale wind power is improved.(5) The simulation of a provincial grid on above theoretical basis indicated this model can better support the wind power accommodation and fully take into consideration of benefits of user side, the economic benefits of electric power dispatching can be improved from the both sides of source and the load.
