In recent years, with Chinese economic growth, vehicle ownership also showed a trend of increasing year by year, the resulting "parking" problem is increasingly prominent in major cities in China. The consequences are not only producing a large number of invalid traffic flow and traffic congestion, reducing traffic facilities and resources efficiency, but also bring serious environmental pollution. So, how to solve the "parking problem " effectively became the important social problems which general urban residents and the relevant government’s departments concerned about.Intelligent parking information system is an important part of ITS. It can not only integrate urban public parking resources, also can connect the parking lot and the drivers. By providing real-time parking information to guide drivers reasonably, system completes the region transportation coordination control. However, the existing intelligent parking information system mainly includes the following two problems: on the one hand, the traditional parking guidance screen does not meet the requirements of driver for real-time interactive; on the other hand, due to the owners to go out and be empty but cannot be used by others, also not be included in the plan as a whole management information system, the scope of it caused a great waste of resources. And with the popularity of Android smartphone, LBS and baidu cloud map technology mature, by developing an Android support parking information platform based on LBS cloud will be able to solve the above problems effectively.At first, this paper analysised the existing intelligent parking information system at home and abroad, and learned more knowledge of Android application and baidu map SDK development process. Thus it proposed the Android mutual parking information platform design based on LBS cloud. Platform architecture adopted C/S mode, used LBS and Web server to save POI data,users data and the order information. And the data connection realize through HTTP protocol. According to MVC design pattern, client was made by Eclipise platform. In order to be able to achieve for the prediction of the free parking, this article also do some researchs fot forecasting model based on support vector machine(SVM)。Finally, in order to verify the feasibility of the system platform, this paper conducted a large number of using test by some Android mobile. The results showed all the functions work normally and achieve the desired effect.
