Along with the rapid development of domestic economy and technology progress of civil engineering, a large number of new-type structures and technology are proposed by engineers and researchers. The precondition of application and popularization of newly developed structures and technology is that the new structures can be analyzed and verified in an accurate and reliable method. The experimental methods that can accurately disclose the seismic performance of structures are desirable to be investigated. This paper mainly focus on the experimental method and numerical analysis of the precast box-modularized structure with reinforced concrete shear walls. Contents and main conclusions of this paper include the following:(1) Proposes one horizontal connection technology for precast reinforced concrete slabs and verifies the seismic performance of the connection method with quasi-static tests and numerical simulations. The research results show that the connection behaviors better performance than other parts of the slab and indicates the proposed horizontal connection method is reliable; the precast slab behavior similar performance as the cast-in-situ slab in terms of bearing capacity and stiffness degradation, and behaviors better performance in energy dissipation capacity; the calculated maximum shearing force of slab with respect to the six-story box-modularized structure induced by rare earthquake is less than the measured shear force capacity.(2) Improves the force-displacement hybrid control method and verifies the method with quasi-static test of precast shear wall specimens conducted by three-DOFs testing system. The research results show that with the proposed force-displacement hybrid control method the predetermined axial force and rotations are realized by two vertical actuators; and the method is reliable and accurate.(3) Researches the pseudo-dynamic substructure test method for the six-story precast box-modularized structure with reinforce concrete shear wall, and numerically analyzes seismic performance of the structure. The research results show that the pseudo-dynamic test method is reliable, and the results from the pseudo-dynamic tests for 70 gal, 125 gal, 220 gal, 400 gal El Centro earthquake wave are very close to the numerical simulation results and the inter-story drift angles of both methods conform to the limit value of in Chinese code for seismic design of buildings.
