Metal rubber material is a kind of nonlinear damping materials, Vibration isolator made of Metal rubber has been applied widely until now because of its perfect damping property, good adaptation to environment, resistance against aging, tunable stiffness etc. Current research on the mechanical performance of metal rubber at home and abroad is quiet mature, however, with expansion of the application field, the requirements of the life-time and reliability of the metal rubber is becoming more and more high.This research, making the Metal rubber isolator made for pipe support as its object of study, carried out the life-time prediction and reliability analysis of metal rubber isolator based on performance degradation data under random vibration. The purpose of the subject is to figure it out the effects the parameters of metal rubber and working stress have on performance of metal rubber isolator and its life-time, and to establish a reliability model of metal rubber vibration based on the performance degradation data.Based on the static experiments, the statics characteristic of metal rubber vibration and influence factors on life-time had been researched. The bending stress distribution of metal rubber element is obtained by theory calculation and finite element simulation. The influences the element parameters had on the hysteresis characteristics of metal rubber, damping and stiffness characteristic had been. The equations of energy dissipation coefficient, the static stress and the stiffness of different parameters of the metal rubber had been calculated.The dynamic characteristics of metal rubber vibration isolator had been studied on the basis of dynamic experiment. The response to sine excitation and random vibration of metal rubber vibration isolator is analyzed through the establishment of the equivalent dynamics model. The performance of vibration isolation and the influence the parameters had on it had been analyzed through dynamic experiments. The performance degradation data had been gotten through the fatigue life experiments.According to the data of fatigue life experiments, a kind of life-time prediction model based on performance degradation data and the concept of partlydegenerate sequence had been set up. The global life prediction under different stress had been obtained by using the theory of Bayesian. On this basis, the fitting formula based on single factor and multiple factors was gotten.On the basis of the fatigue life experiments, this paper puts forward the reliability assessment method based on the performance degradation of trajectory and obtained a reliability curve as an example. Another reliability evaluation method based on the performance degradation of data was proposed and was compared with the one based on the degradation of trajectory. A reliability assessment method based on multi-parameter wads put forward, which took the correlation between the different performance parameters into consideration.
