There are some problems of traditional thyristor rectifier charging device such as line current distortion, low net side power factor, pollution grid, bulky charging device, low frequency, only one-way transfer of energy. This paper presents an efficient, energy-saving, high power factor devices of battery charge and discharge.Firstly, introduces the three-phase voltage-type PWM rectifier circuit structure and working principle, mathematical model of the three-phase VSR, voltage PWM modulation method. Then designs a battery charge and discharge device overall structure including battery charge and discharge device configuration and system performance parameter index. Secondly, designs the battery charge and discharge device control system hardware and software with TMS320LF2407 as the core. Proposes a method of calculating parameters of the charging and discharging means in the main circuit including Voltage PWM Rectifier, reversible DC / DC converter and keyboard display circuit. This article details the features and software design processes each component module.Finally, according to the technical condition of the system and the basic parameters of the battery charge and discharge system simulation and experimental verification. Experimental results show that the system meets the expectations index,the performance requirements and some practical significance.
