With more and more wide use of storage battery in most fields, how to charge the battery quickly, safely, and efficiently becomes very important. Rectifying using thyristor is adopted in most traditional devices. Though it has complete technique and low price, it also has many disadvantages, such as, low input power factor causing the current aberrant, low working frequency making the device huge and only one-way transformation of energy. With the development of power electronic device and control technique, the storage battery charge system will have characters of high frequency, high efficiency and small volume. A high-efficiency, high-power factor and energy-saving PWM storage battery charging and discharging system is presented in this paper.Reversible PWM converter can realize unit power factor, constant voltage output and two-way transformation of energy. In this paper, the working principle and control method of single-phase and three-phase converter is analyzed. The principle of voltage space vectors and how to achieve SVPWM is presented. The three-phase converter based on the intelligent power module (IPM) is designed. The control algorithm is written with the TI company's common digital signal processor TMS320F240.A reversible DC/DC chopper circuit is designed and it can realize the control of charge and discharge current of battery. The working principle of it in different ways is analyzed. According to its peculiarity, we adopt the intellectual control method. The control model for charge is build and the simulation analysis is given.The design of control hardware of system based on TMS320F240 is analyzed. Some important hardware schematics and software flow-chart are presented in this paper.The experimental results of the system indicate that the input power factor is close to 1, the output voltage of the rectifier is stable and the battery charge-recharge current of high quality is achieved.Figure [80] table [2] reference [32]...
