Conventional battery aging products manufactured during the test andbattery maintenance, mostly use power resistors, water resistance, and otherenergy type load cell products were tested as the load. Also exists in the courseof aging test process energy consumption, set of test conditions regulator isvery inconvenient, the operator of a larger workload, the test data is notaccurate enough, analysis of test results for a long time and othershortcomings. And the life of the battery will cause some impact. Based onthis, for electric locomotive with nickel-cadmium alkaline battery charge anddischarge detection system is designed and studied to solve the traditionalbattery charge and discharge device low power factor, harmonic pollutioninadequate15KVA batteries for electric locomotive designed based on PWMrectifier inverter technology battery charge and discharge device and detectionmonitoring system. The device is used as a charging source, the use of currentdouble closed loop control system, the constant current mode or voltage modephased charge; as battery discharge test load can be energy feedback network,to achieve energy recycling. Test and test results show that the device has atwo-way flow of energy, sinusoidal line current, power factor, high powerflexible regulation characteristics.PWM rectifier based on two-way battery charging and discharging deviceto solve the traditional means of energy waste problem, the energy consumption of90%of the test feedback network to achieve a two-way flowof energy, the use of SVPWM modulation enables sinusoidal line current, highpower factor, charge and discharge power to achieve flexible regulation.Discharge power controllability simplify the operator’s work, but also improvethe reliability of data and device security. Therefore, a huge market prospects.
