Since methodology of performance-based earthquake engineering is proposed, Chinese scholars have conducted research on the earthquake economic loss and earthquake risk management.The study of economic losses caused by the earthquake is the core of disaster risk management as the consequences of disasters is the core of disaster risk management.The study of the methodology of earthquake assessment based on performance to the study of individual building is not perfect.Therefore, based on PEER performance assessment methodology of economi c losses for building and relevant researches, this paper assesses earthquake economic loss and have carried on the beneficial exploration to the earthquake disaster risk management.Firstly, use OpenSees to build a comprehensive building of a primary schoolestablishes three-dimensional model of an infilled RC frame for a primary school, 24 ground motion records are selected to carry out incremental dynamic analysis,the results of structural response are analyzed, the following are achieved based on the analysis of structural response:(1) Based on PEER performance assessment methodology of direct economic losses for individual building, this paper elaborated the assessment methodology based on full probability theory, the direct economic loss of structure are analyzed,then, fragility and economic losses of the infilled and no-infilled model are compared. Based on the analysis results, suggestions for future economic loss analysis and study are given.(2) On the basis of PEER assessment methodology of indirect economic losses, the calculation method of the repair time after the earthquake model of the individual building was revised. The rational and irrational interrupt time are estimated, and evaluate the example structure of indirect economic losses, indirect economic losses of the infilled and no-infilled model are compared.(3) On the basis of PEER assessment model of earthquake casualties, A simple modification is made.Using the existing evaluation theory of life value, evaluated the individual building earthquake casualties.(4) Outlines the basic content of disaster risk management, discussed the social and economic earthquake risk acceptance criteria, and puts forward suggestions for the risk management of earthquake disaster.Through the analysis and research on PEER individual building economic loss assessment methodology, and applied the methodology to evaluate earthquake economic loss of a individual building, given the specific operation method, as the earthquake economic loss of the earthquake disaster risk assessment, disaster acceptable standards are put forward as disaster risk management decision-making. Analysis results show that PEER performance assessment methodology can effectively evaluate the economic losses of the individual building, provide the basis for the insurance premium rate and the disaster risk management. This paper analyzes prove PEER single building seismic economic loss assessment method can effectively evaluate the seismic economic loss shall be determined for the earth quake insurance rates determination and provide the basis for earthquake disaster risk management.
