Research On The Protection And Reutilization Of Industrial Relics Based On The Theory Of Creative City

As a new issue, the protection and recycle of urban industrial heritage sites comes out under the background of the rapid development of urbanization and the fast changes of the industry structure. Considering of the industrial heritage is the remark of a city and the memory of history,taking full advantages of the unique value and resources from these industrial heritage areas is an effective carrier and approach for constructing the creative city. It helps to optimize the spatial structure of a racecourse-based city, improve environment quality of a industrial city, shape city’s image, enhance its competitiveness and also strengthen appeal to creative class by using the theory of creative city to protect and recycle industrial heritage areas.Therefore, the theory of creative city can be an effective solution for a resource-exhausted city which is just as the Zaozhuang City.By analyzing and studying Zaozhuang City, this paper consists of four parts.First of all, based on the creative city theory and the protection and recycle of the industrial heritage sites, this paper reviews and collects the latest research results makes a comprehensive theoretical study and investigation at home and abroad.Secondly, it turns to clarify the relationship between the process of urbanization and the industrial development history through documentary study and visit discussion.Thirdly, this paper focus on making sure distributed situation and features of Zaozhuang industrial heritage sites through field investigation, summarizing the present situation and analyzing existing problems of the protection and recycle of Zaozhuang industrial heritage sites. At the last, based on the theory of creative city,the paper comes up with a improved strategy of protection and recycle of the industrial heritage sites of Zaozhuang city, and taken a typical area as a case study to analyze and summarize the importance of the role of industrial heritage sites in building Zaozhuang as a creative city.
