| In the period of rural economic transformation,in order to increase the income of the villagers and increase employment opportunities,a large number of township and village enterprises came into being,and many industrial buildings were built.As the economy became stronger,some of the industrial buildings gradually lost their original functions,but they have integrated into rural life and became the distinctive mark of that era.The primary consideration in the construction of these industrial buildings is practicality,lacking considerations for the inheritance of traditional culture,the continuity of old and new spaces,the ecological environment,and the needs of villagers’ lives.After they were abandoned,they not only lost their economic value,but also caused problems such as the demise of traditional rural culture,the destruction of rural texture and ecological environment.The current "village revitalization" is in full swing,and the country has set off a boom in building pilot villages.The construction of public facilities to serve the revitalization cause bears the brunt.From the perspective of saving land resources and social capital,it is a very efficient way to select these industrial buildings with clear property rights for transformation.Therefore,how to better re-use the remains of industrial buildings is a question worthy of in-depth study and reflection when doing rural construction work.The paper sorts out the history of China’s rural industry development,through literature research and expert interviews.The author also summarizes the current characteristics and existing problems of rural industrial buildings and further analyzes the influencing factors of the current characteristics through field research on rural industrial buildings.The paper discusses the re-use strategies of rural industrial building remains from the perspectives of cultural guidance,ecological restoration,texture darning and multifunctional space.At the end of the article,the author discusses the application of these strategies in practical projects through two projects involved in the master’s degree. |
