The ground movement and deformation caused by mining subsidence can be transferred to the ground structure, and then cause structural damage, affect the normal operation of the structure and even endanger its safety. This paper takes the stone arch bridge as an example to study the damage situation caused by mining subsidence and control measures. After consulting a lot of documents and data, based on the study, of stone masonry materials for introduction and analysis, suitable constitutive relations is determined as the basis for follow-up research. Use the finite element software ANSYS to build stone arch bridge model and to simulate and analyze. Then obtain the failure law of stone arch bridge.Due to the movement and deformation of the underground transfer to the surface and then pass on to the ground building(structure), the deformation of the surface earth is not same as the deformation of the structure. In this paper, a lot of experiments have been carried out to study the surface subsidence and the subsidence of the bridge, and then obtain the corresponding relationship between them. The surface movement and deformation that will affect the stone arch bridge is mainly tilt and horizontal deformation. Combined with the calculation results and the relevant regulations, the three grades of the stone arch bridge damage are proposed. And obtain the critical deformation combination index of three damage grades as the basis for judging the failure condition of the stone arch bridge. Finally put forward the corresponding measures to ensure the safety of the bridge from the two aspects of ground and underground. The research on the security of stone arch bridge under the influence of mining can provide technical guidance for coal mining under the same or similar arch bridge structure, but also provide ideas and references for coal mining under the similar structures.
