In order to response to the 13 th five-year energy development plan and the file which was released by three ministries and commissions in our country and implement the call of energy efficiency improvement、energy-saving and emissions reduction in power plants.It’s meaningful for the actual thermal power plant to excavate energy-saving potential facing with massive valuable real-time operating data of thermal power plant.Based on an overview of current domestic and foreign analysis of thermal power plants on the status of data mining, boiler and Turbine thermal system of subcritical coal-fired generating units with 600 MW are selected in this paper. According to the electric industry standard ‘Guide for energy balance of thermal power plant Part 3:Thermal energy balance’(DL/T606.3-2014), the stability of real-time operating data in thermal systems are judged and excavated by using Multidimensional analysis of thermal power plants.It can give guidance and advices to operating personnel and supervisors to keep the unit in economic operation. According to “Calculation method of technical and economic indicators in Thermal power plant”(DL/T904-2004),a certain Gas- steam combined cycle unit of 9F level is selected to establish its mathematical models of thermal economy in this paper.The polytropic index algorithm of gas turbine in level 9F is explored initially.It’s a reference to monitor turbine’s first temperature in engineering by using polytropic index algorithm.Cases of multidimensional analysis of thermal power plants are increased by selecting the unit’s compressor and HRSG systems with methods of multidimensional analysis of thermal power plants.At last,“Gas- steam combined cycle units online heat balance analysis system”is developed by using C# programming language and softwares of Microsoft Visual Studio 2013、Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and AutoCAD2014.Interfaces of this system are also displayed in this paper.
