With the rapid economic development and social progress, the problem of energy shortage and environmental pollution has become more and more serious. To find and use new and renewable energy become a hot topic in today’s energy use and development, our country began to vigorously promote green travel, a large number of electric cars, solar street light in our life, solar power, wind power generation is applied more and more. Solar energy is a clean and renewable energy, it has great development potential and space. School is a large population density and a very strong regularity of life, very suitable for the promotion of new energy applications, to achieve the purpose of energy conservation and emission reduction. This paper mainly focuses on the research on optimization design of solar water heating system and operation strategy.To take advantage of solar heat, energy efficiency of air source heat pump, and gas boiler efficiency based to study of the air source heat pump and gas hot water boiler assistant solar energy hot water system, contains the following several points:(1) Based on Visual Basic platform, the goal is to design a cost, carbon emissions, energy consumption and other indicators, according to the analysis of software development of solar collector area and air source heat pump input power of different size one by one combination can get the best result, combined with the school had to gas boiler auxiliary solar water heating system, the difference between the two a system of economic benefit and social benefit analysis. Combined with an example of Shanghai University demonstration project, the optimal matching combination of the BASIC VISUAL 6 platform is solved by changing the area of the collector, the input power of the heat pump and the capacity of the gas boiler. In initial investment, annual energy consumption, operating cost, finally the measures on carbon emissions as the collector area is 234 m2, air source heat pump input power of 25 p, gas boiler size of 70000 calories. Relative school originally used gas boiler auxiliary solar hot water system comprehensive energy consumption reduced by 37.81%, operation cost by around 39.2%.(2) Using TRNSYS software of air source heat pump and gas boiler assistant solar energy hot-water system optimization design software development from the results of simulation test and analysis of the air source heat pump and gas boiler assistant solar energy hot water system of all year hourly operating characteristics, including the variable temperature and the outlet of the water pump, heat exchanger outlet temperature, outlet temperature of air source heat pump, the outlet temperature of the gas boiler, a water tank temperature annual change of flat plate solar collector; equipment, water pump, air source heat pump, gas boilers, and other annual open; and the system as a whole water flow changes. The results revealed that the heat exchanger area 234 square meters, air source heat pump input power 25 p, gas boiler size is 7 million kcal matching can guarantee system in energy saving at the same time all year round stable operation. And based on the operating characteristics of the system throughout the year, operation strategy for the whole year to the hot water system is analyzed.From initial investment, operating cost, energy saving, environmental protection and other aspects, this paper solar water heating system in Colleges and universities were related optimization design and software development and to simulate the operation of the system as a whole, the operation characteristics of the system as a whole made the operating strategy analysis. For the construction and renovation of the other area school garden solar hot water provides basic information and reference of the selection scheme, comprehensively reduce the level of building energy.
