Powertrain vibration is one of the vehicle vibration excitation source which has great influence for vehicle NVH characteristics and ride com fort. The vibration can be reduced by the reasonable design of the powertrain mounting system, which will reduce the noise, improve the ride comfort 、the reliability of the engine parts and extending the service life of the parts. The three-dimensional software Pro/E be used to establish the initial model, reuse MATLAB、multi-body dynamics software ADAMS and ISIGHT to accomplish the automobile engine suspension system dynamics modeling 、simulation analysis software and subsequent optimization design ing.First of all, analyze the dynamic assembly excitation and vibration isolation characteristics, and carry out the decoupling theory of the suspension system.Furthermore, based on knowledge of Lagrange theory and vibration theory, the establishment of the mechanical model and mathematical model of the powertrain were finished, according to the obtained the parameter information of the power assembly mounting system,an ADAMS simulation model was established, using MATLAB and ADAMS simulate inherent characteristics respectively, then making a comparative analysis. Finally, both the MATLAB and ISIGHT are used to optimize the suspension system.A satisfactory result is obtained. The work done in this paper has a great improvement on the vibration isolation characteristics of the powertrain mounting system, which has a certain guiding significance for the practical work.
