| As the information level of the whole society improves, the demand for data centers is also growing. While the data center brings challenges to the social energy consumption because of its high cooling consumption. So how to make computer room air conditioning(CRAC) efficient and power to operate has become an urgent problem.Air conditioning cooling is required throughout the year in the data center. The key issue of CARC energy saving is how to make use of natural cold source for cooling when the outdoor temperature is lower than the indoor temperature during winter and transitional seasons. This paper mainly studies the energy saving of directly introduced fresh air-conditioning system in Harbin.This paper conducts according to the idea of “theory-applicationâ€. centered on data center air conditioning saving in Harbin with the method of literature review and model construction. this thesis focused on the following key points: introduce the air-conditioning requirements include temperature, humidity, cleanliness, etc. to ensure the room environment to satisfy the relevant specification standards, the design parameters of air conditioning system is determined based on the existing standard specification; Make statistical calculations of time and the ratio of fresh air introduced into air conditioning system and analyze its feasibility with the method of psychrometric chart and 8760 hourly meteorological parameters in Harbin; get the hourly cooling load by running a simulation of the annual dynamic air conditioning load of a large data center in Harbin through DeST, then conduct scenario analysis on directly introducing fresh air system mainly focus on the filter cost brought by fresh air.The study of this paper demonstrate that introducing outdoor air can achieve energy savings when the enthalpy and humidity of outdoor air below the point of blowing state, the data center can realize save of 5915704 kWh electricity, which is equivalent to 61.6×10 kg carbon emission per year. After completing the selection of the air heater, exhaust fan, humidifier, and the calculation of the filter life, the period of static system payback only takes 2.7 year, which shows the outdoor air cooling could not only reduce operating costs, but also in response to the requirements of the green community. Simulation of particles on the cabinet simulation mode with software Fluent distribution in order to provide a reference for future use of fresh air in energy-saving air-conditioning system under the better control of room cleanliness. |
