Researches Of Waterjet Steering And Reversing Gear In The High-Speed Amphibious Vehicle

According to the request of the sea mobile battle, the aquatic speed of the new amphibious vehicle will have a quality to leap. The maneuverability should be improved with the higher speed. The steering and reversing gear can not satisfy with the requirement of the new vehicle . It should be developed a new steering and reversing gear.In this paper three different projects of the water jet steering and reversing gear are designed basing on analysis of the existing gear. And also the comparison of different projects and model test are carried out. In this paper mutual influence between the inlet and exit of WJ is calculated and analyzed through the Fluent software.A feasible project which could satisfy with maneuverability and installation is adopted according to the result of the comparison and model test. The research of this paper is of great practical significance for the high-speed amphibious vehicle of China.
