Currently,Manual Register is used by the vast majority of colleges to check students’ attendance.However,as a traditional registration by human writing,it has disadvantages in accuracy,storage,objectivity and problems about cheating attendan ce.As college’s intranet networks grow increasingly mature,it would be a good re solution to develop a cyber attendance checking system based on Campus Netwo rk.This article is based on extensive researches and requirements analysis on th e management and attendance of college students.Aiming at widespread problemsabout attendance checking,the design implemented on Web and Android enablesthe system to integrate with existing course selection system and to implement management and statistics by selected course schedule.This method adopts Androi d related technology in its client development,PHP in frond-end web design and My SQL in Database.The stable operation of the system and the high efficiency i n checking process are guaranteed by the principles of high reliability,high efficie ncy,easy maintenance, extensibility and openness which are followed in the syste matic design.The system consists of six modules:Log In/Out,Information Manage ment,Online Checking,Attendance Statistics,Class Checking,Absence Statistics.From the view of Software Engineering,this article gives a detailed introduction to contents on System Requirement Analysis,High-Level System Design,System Database Design,Detailed System Design and Implement,System Testing and etc.The implement of college’s attendance checking system facilitate students,with solving the issue of error-proneness,high risks of non-objectivity and problems about cheating attendance which are common in traditional methods.Meanwhile,the management and statistics of students’ attendance would be easier for teachers and student management apartment.
