Academic Library Open Access Development And Strategy Analysis

For the past few years, the rapid development of open access has made itself attracting increasing attraction as a new communication and spreading method. At present, open access has been extended to the field of academic books. The article introduces the developing situation of open access academic books, including its background, necessity and feasibility, and the impact of publishers, libraries, researchers,and other stakeholders. The article analyses the current development of open access academic books both China and foreign countries. The article also takes some researches on key issues of open access academic books, including business models,service content, quality control, and the legal framework, and makes some constructive suggestions on the development of our open access academic books. Hope that, through these researches and studies, this article would contribute to the development in the national open access academic books as reference.
