| Tourist flow has a close relationship with the destinations. Present study is mainly focus on the single elements of tourism system but is seldom based on the relationship between tourism subsystems and the relationship between tourist flow and destinations. To reveal the tourism supply and demand, we should choose a destination as the research platform and the relationship between the tourism flow and destination as the research object, discuss the coupling relationship between tourism flow and destination, and research the balance situation between supply and demand. Inbound tourist flow is is the dominant performance of destination tourism demand. The city’s tourism services and facilities is an important subsystem of the destination city supply system, and is a relatively long-term and stable system. It’s a prominent problem to balance the supply and demand of tourist flow and destination services and facilities. By researching the coupling coordination degree between tourist flow system and destination city tourism services and facilities system, this paper provide the theoretical basis of the supply and demand balance of tourist services and facilities.This study relies on the National Natural Science Foundation Project of China(No.41271158).From the perspective of the man-earth relationship, selecting inbound tourism as an entry point, making the coupling relationship between the tourist flow and destination tourism services and facilities as the research object, choosing Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Kunming, Chengdu and Xi’an as the six typical tourist city examples, using qualitative research, timing analysis, comparison, cluster analysis, statistics, social measurement methods.this paper compare analysis the coupling coordination degree between tourist flow and destination city tourism services and facilities systems of six typical tourist cities in time sequence, and by the analysis of the law and the cluster,explored the differences of temporal evolution of the coupling coordination degree between the two systems in different cities. On that basis, by questionnaire survey, the author analyzes tourists’ Perceptual evaluation on city tourism services and facilities, and explores how to make the tourism services and facilities perfect.The conclusion of this study includes the following points: (1) the temporal evolution in2002-2011of the coupling coordination degree between the two systems in the six cities shows the characteristics that it all developed from low to high,from disorder to coordinate.①the coupling coordination degree between the two systems in six cities all developed from low to high;②the coupling coordination degree in six cities present the evolution process from disorder to coordinate;③all the six cities didn’t reach a high level of coordination state;④major crisis and disaster events and major international events all have great influence on the two system;⑤from the perspective of supply and demand in general, the development of the six cities tourist services and facilities lags behind the development of inbound tourism flow of many years, the speed and level of tourism destination city services and facilities is lower than the development of inbound tourism flows, there has been the structural imbalance of supply and demand between supply and demand all the time.(2) Find out that it exist coupled coordination mechanism between the innbound tourism flow system and urban tourist services and facilities system. Inbound tourism brought in foreign economic power and comprehensive social effect to the development of urban tourism services and facilities system, at the same time, the development of urban tourism services and facilities system provides industrial foundation and guarantee for the tourism industry, both of them influence each other, be the background of each other. The development process of inbound tourism and urban tourism services and facilities, is the action and reaction process at the same time and destination within the mutual coordination.(3) Analysis and put forward three different kinds of coupling coordination types.By clustering evaluation on the temporal evolution of the coupling coordination degree, six cities can be divided into three types:the first type has a high level of coupling coordination degree and steady development,such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou city; the second type has a fluctuant development and a relatively high level such as Xi’an, which; the third type need to improve,such as Chengdu, Kunming.(4)It put forward some suggestions to perfect the urban tourist facilities and services:畉he government should play a leading role;②improve the tourism infrastructure and supporting facilities construction;③implement brand management and improve services;④strengthen the management of the travel industry;⑤improve the personalization and internationalization of inbound tourism services;⑥strengthen scientific and technological innovation.The innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in:(1)Expand the research approach of tourism spatial structure in tourist flow-destination path.By researching the destination tourist flow and destination tourist services and facilities on the same platform,deepen the study of tourism flow, refine the study of destination tourism supply system.(2) Found the coupling coordination degree between tourist flow system and destination city tourism services and facilities system in the six cities shows the characteristics that it all developed from low to high,from disorder to coordinate. On the whole, the coupling coordination degree between the two systems in the six cities all develop from low to high,and presents from disorder to the coordination evolution process.(3) Provide the evaluation standards of the balance between supply and demand of destination city inbound tourism, with the empirical findings partly verified the mathematical quantitative analysis conclusions.Although this paper insist the principle of scientific, careful and serious when construct comprehensive evaluation index system of the inbound tourism flow system and destination city tourist services and facilities system, but because of the limitation of time and energy, the comprehensive evaluation index system need to be perfect and has the potential of ascension. |
