Research On RMB Internationalization

Recently, with rapid economical development, China’s great-power status has become more and more obvious. The improvement of payments in the whole world accelerated the process of the internationalization of RMB. The enhancing economy played an important role at RMB’s development. In the mean time, the rising status of RMB reduces the risks of trading, in return, it promotes the economy. RMB now is used in many countries, its international status is enhancing and developmental situation stable. But it is undeniable that China is not mature enough to get the goal of internationalization of RMB. The defects of financial markets block China to get it.In the1980s, Japan encountered many problems on the way of realizing internationalization of the Japanese yen, which has a lot in common with China. Therefore, this article analyzes the problems and measures that the yen internationalization has been faced, so as to create a better condition for the internationalization of RMB. In addition, the comparison of the condition and process to realize the internationalization among the Japanese yen, the euro, the dollar and RMB is also a good way to realize the rapid and disadvantages of the RMB, analyze how to play our own role better to reduce the gap between the international monetary. This article aims at summarizing developing processes of the international monetary and all the ways that some other countries has taken, so as to find the right way to realize the internationalization of RMB.
