Tourism is developing gradually towards a wider and deeper level. As an emerging market,nighttime tourism is becoming a new mode to upgrade the development of tourist destination, thehuge economic benefits and social benefits it brings begin to be recognized, and received theattention of tourist destination and tourists. Qufu is a world-famous historical and cultural city, ithas a profound historical cultural and rich tourism resources. During the day, Qufu is full oftourists, however, at night, there are only a few tourists, the problem of “difficult to keep guests”is obvious. How to efficiently develop the night tour, change the disadvantageous situation in thetourism development and competition and realize the sustainable development of tourism is nowa problem to be solved by Qufu.Take Qufu nighttime tourism development as the research object, it mainly includes threeparts. First, analysis of the literature. It sums up the research progress and related theories aboutnighttime tourism at home and abroad, summarizes and redefines related concepts of tourism atnight; Second, analysis of the development. It includes through the general overview of the basicsituation of Qufu tourism pointing out the necessity of developing tourism at night. Throughon-the-spot investigation, choose suitable-to-develop tourism resources at night, and makequalitative evaluation. Use the method of questionnaire survey to analyze tourist night marketwith key point in tourists’ behavior. From the perspective of tourist image perception, with thehelp of SPSS, make contrastive analysis between daytime and nighttime tourism image; Third,countermeasures of the development. It includes the set of development principle of Qufu nighttourism, and gives projects and guidelines from three angles: the functional orientation, culturalrelics protection, and land adjustment. Position the main target market during the nighttimetourism according to different factors. Through promotion and the innovation of different typesof tourism products, the design characteristic tourist route to realize development of thenighttime tourism product; realize the innovation the reshaping of the brand through the image,propaganda and implementation of the communication strategy. Finally put forward somesuggestions to promote the Qufu tourism development at night.
