Owing to the developing financial reform, intensified competition, the strengthened external supervision, the changing external macro situation and the higher requirements from the internal performance of bank, the traditional non-performing loans management pattern could not meet the need of the changing situation. To respond to the changes of internal and external environment, BANK AB combined its strategic target positioning in recent years, actively explored an innovative non-performing loan management mode. The new mode sets value creation and value management as the core idea, meanwhile sets soft strength, core competitiveness and sustainable development ability as the guidance. Through the research and exploration on the innovation and transformation of non-performing loan management pattern, Bank AB actively explored an effective way to improve the management efficiency of the non-performing asset management.As an employee of Bank AB, the author analyzed the deficiencies and causes based on the current situation and dilemma of the management of non-performing loans. Referring to the experiences of some advanced banks, the advantages and disadvantages of the transformation and innovation of operation management of the Bank AB are analyzed with the framework of SWOT. Scientific verification is conducted based on the relevant management theories and practical cases. The purpose of this paper is to, by particular and integrated study and sufficient argumentation and research, find effective ways to improve management efficiency of non-performing loan, in the hope of offering more referential solutions to colleagues on the related business line of the banking system in Bank AB. By dealing with the operation and management problems of non-performing loans that Bank AB is currently facing, the author presented "integral management, centralized operation, professional disposition" as the innovative management idea, and put forward a series of targeted innovative management programs and suggestions. Through citing interbank advanced practices and relevant successful collection case, the author has succeeded in proving the effectiveness of these constructive programs and suggestions so that they can help Bank AB to continuously optimize and improve their non-performing loans operation and management administration modes, thereby achieving greater economic benefits.
