Project management is to through certain forms of organization, planning, organization, command, coordination and control theory and method of system engineering of the consruc-tion project work, to ensure the engineering quality, shorten the construction period, increase the investment profit. Therefore, the project management is to control is the core of the mana-gement activities in the engineering project target. Earned value method is an effective metho-d of integrated control, its core is the work completed by measuring the budget expenses, to build a bridge between plan and actual, by calculating the project evaluation and forecasting index, analysis the project cost and schedule execution situation, and take corresponding mea-sures to achieve the project objectives.This paper is combined with the project the author, from a practical perspective, focusing on the earned value method, the critical path of earned value method, quality earned value method in middle and small chemical projects in the application steps and key points of two level earned value management to value method, cost, schedule control application flow met-hod and reference for the purpose of effective application future earn much.This paper takes Shanxi liquefied natural gas project as a case study, the actual situation and characteristics on the project, through the tracking inspection on the project two sub pro-jects, the arrangement of sub project actual progress and cost, application of earned value me-thod to analyze the actual implementation of the deviation between the situation and plan,take corrective measures according to the significant deviation, so as to summarize two conc-rete application steps and key points of earned value method in liquefied natural gas chemical pro-jects cost and schedule management, from the implementation of this project, has achieved good control effect.Secondly, the cost control progress-Dazhou liquid sulfur loading system project as a case calculate the key projects and non critical path, using the critical path of earned value method, analysis of the relationship between the total schedule deviation and deviation on the critical path of the project, the project schedule lag reasons and the influence on the cost of the proje-ct, in order to develop corrective measures. Through this case study, summed up the applica-tion process of the critical path method in chemical projects earned.Finally, in order to realize the integrated management of earned value method of project quality, will quality earned value engineering method is applied to the chemical pipeline. In consideration of the quality factors, the project specified quality level and the actual quality level is measured, through the introduction of quality index, calculate the project quality earn-ed value, and uses the method of earned value index system for quality deviation analysis, so as to realize the integrated management of small chemical projects in the construction quality, cost, schedule three aspects.
