Research On The Strategy Of Enterprise 's Sustainable Development Based On ISO14001 Environmental Management System

With the deepening of reform and opening up as well as the rapid development of the market economy, the sustainable development of enterprise is becoming one of the most concerned problem in our society these years. It is proposed that the crisis of global environmental problems and our ecocide is getting worse and worse. Sustainable development of enterprise focus on how to take good advantage of resources and meet the requirements of environmental protection. Now power’s investment reaches to a new peak, and the scale of the electric power industry continually expands, but its energy consumption and pollution emissions problems have become increasingly prominent. Therefore, with requirement of low-carbon economic development, sustainable development of power equipment manufacturing enterprises in China which are the high consumption of resources and environmental pollution, has become an inevitable trend in the recent years.IS014001environmental management system is based on the sustainable development and set an even higher demand on environmental protection for enterprises. At present, it is becoming the important rule for the enterprise’s sustainable development all around the world. It is very meaningful for enterprise’s sustainable development and environmental protection.This paper is to study the strategy of sustainable development of enterprises based on the ISO14001environmental management system standard. Due to the inadequate implementation of government policies and lack of incentive system, a large number of environmental costs are transferred to the external, and its lead to a further conflict between economic development and environmental protection,it is becoming more and more prominent. And it makes our enterprise difficult to realize the sustainable development though they are certified by IS014001environmental management system.Enterprise A involved in the analysis of this paper, and its the implementation of the sustainable development strategy epitomizes the above problems. Found in the analysis, enterprise A have passed the IS014001certification, it is still developing by the traditional development strategy and backward production process, because it is lack of the positive incentive mechanism. It resulted in enterprise A’s resource consumption remained increasing and cannot realize internalization of external cost. Enterprise A is in-depth discussed and analyzed the problems of the sustainable development which it faces as an example, think that enterprise A passed the IS014001environmental management system certification, but it is still not optimistic about the prospects for the implementation of the sustainable development strategy, mainly because the backward production process has not been eliminated, enterprise resource and energy consumption is still external internalization and cannot be transferred to interior. This article is based on Enterprise A as an example, proposes the related suggestion and measure based on macro level of policy and micro level of enterprise, that is the country need to improve relevant environmental laws and regulations and standards, the Government should set up the right incentives and guide enterprises to eliminate backward productivity; enterprises should ensure the implementation of legal compliance actively and operate IS014001environmental management system to be supervised in the enterprise, promote the backward production process’s improvement, and establish the corporate social responsibility, and develop the evaluation feedback system based on ISO14001environmental management system standard.
