Influencing Factors Of Competitiveness Of Financial Center And Construction Of Shanghai International Financial Center

International Financial Center provides customers with high quality services and promotes the flourishing of local business. Recently, people focus much more on international finance center than before. In the past several years, economist and scholars do more research on it all over the world. According to the history of global economic growth, international finance center has much to do with globalized international trade. After reading history of International Financial Center, We found that some center had very outstanding performance, while it went down in short time. What are financial center competitiveness factors?According to regression analysis to those countries or area which have good ranking in GFCI, with yearly data from world bank web, it is found that following factors could make finance centre more competitive:GDP(Gross Domestic Product), GDP per capita, credit depth of information index, FDI (Foreign Direct Investment), Highest marginal Tax Rate Individual Rate. Studying previous advanced research and the history of International Financial Center, this paper summarizes that financial center competitiveness factors are:Economic Development, Openness and Freedom of Economic, Financial Market Development, Talent and Urban Development.Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing got good ranking during GFCI report Recently.Based on the empirical analysis mentioned in last paragraph, we establishs financial center competitiveness evaluation index. It has4first-class indicators: Economic Development, Openness and Freedom of Economic, Financial Market Development, Talent and Urban Development,32second-class indicators. According to SPSS Principal Component Analysis to those indicators of6mainland city including Shanghai, we know the pros and cons of Shanghai, and finally give some suggestion for Shanghai International Financial Center Construction.
