Research On Retailer - Led Supply Chain Coordination Mechanism Based On Option Contract Under Sudden Incident

In recent years, the frequent occurrence of disruption and the globalization andcomplication of supply chain are largely increased the risks and uncertainties that supplychain faces, meanwhile with the retail’s organization and means of survival innovating anddeveloping constantly, supplier’s dominant position is being gradually replaced by retailer.So the disruption response of retailer-dominant supply chain gradually gets more attention.In this dissertation, the disruption response of retailer-dominant supply chain based onoption contract was researched by using game theory, optimization theory, financialengineering and operations research.The main contents of this dissertation are concluded as follows:(1)The coordination of retailer-dominate supply chain based on option contract wasresearched. Centralized decision model and the coordination model with option contractwere built, and their optimal policies were also presented. The result shows that the wholecoordination of retailer-dominate supply chain can be achieved by option contract. Finally,numerical simulation was applied to further analyze and verify the result.(2) The disruption response of retailer-dominant supply chain based on optioncontract was researched. First, centralized decision model and the decentralized decisionmodel based on original option contract were built under the market demand disturbancethat caused by disruption, and their optimal policies were also presented. Then based onthe above analysis, disruption response model of retailer-dominant supply chain based onoption contract was built and coordinating strategy to disruption based on option contractwas obtained. The result shows that in retailer-dominant supply chain, option contract hasrobustness and anti-disruption ability, meanwhile the disruption response ofretailer-dominant supply chain can be achieved by option contract. Finally, numericalsimulation was applied to further analyze and verify the result.(3) In a conditional value-at-risk framework, the disruption response ofretailer-dominant supply chain whose manufacturer has risk appetite was researched basedon option contract. First, The coordination model of retailer-dominate supply chain whosemanufacturer has risk appetite was built based on option contract, and reasonableparameter setting of option contract was obtained. Then centralized decision model and thedecentralized decision model based on original option contract were built under the marketdemand disturbance that caused by disruption, and the change of their optimal policieswere also presented. Based on the above analysis, disruption response model ofretailer-dominant supply chain whose manufacturer has risk appetite was built based on option contract and coordinating strategy to disruption based on option contract wasobtained. The result shows that the disruption response of retailer-dominant supply chainwhose manufacturer has risk appetite can be achieved by option contract. Finally,numerical simulation was applied to further analyze and verify the result.
